Honour and Truth

I am so very proud (as I’m sure you all are) of Justin. The late Queen Elisabeth the Second and in turn King Charles the Third have honoured him with The Order of the British Empire.

It is an honour he richly deserves after giving the world the gift of music and magic for the duration of his life. You have all felt his impact on your lives, as have I, in the deepest and most personal sense.

But my heart goes out to him because, for all the honours he has received and all the love his millions of fans have shown him, he still hasn’t achieved what he most wants: to prove that love survives death, that our lives are cumulative and have meaning.

With the clocks of our lifetimes continually ticking toward midnight, time is running short. He knows it. I know it.

He will not achieve his most heartfelt goal until someone with kindness in their heart tells him about these pages.

Then he can finally tell the world the truth.

And for that, I hope he is Knighted.

  1. I’m sorry to have to tell you, you are delusional. Your poor husband. I lost mine to cancer in 2011, and after reading your blog about “you” and Justin Hayward, I can only hope that you wake up someday to put all of your efforts and energy into your husband and your family.
    Best to you~

    1. My husband and family are well loved. I would think that you of all people, having suffered your loss, would realize that love doesn’t confine itself, nor does it take from one to give to another. It lives on, and for that belief, whether delusional or not, I am happy for myself and for you.

  2. Acjmcdblog: I find this blog fascinating in many ways, but since I have seen no legal battle to stop you from posting, I would respectfully like to ask you if it is truly a brilliant promotional concept or, as I would love to think, is it factual? If it is your truth I only hope that someday, before it’s too late, you can accomplish your goal. In any case, the romantic in me can easily see how anyone could love Justin Haywood and know that he is such a special gift to this life around. Good wishes. . .

      1. I am well and hope that this finds you in your most perfect condition. Will you email directly? As opposed to public blog. If not, I understand.

        Thank you.

      2. Hello again. I apologize for my delayed reply, but I was on a cycling trip with limited access to the web. Over the years I have been subjected to some very negative comments, so I would prefer not to give out my email. Thanks for understanding. I am willing to answer most any question here though, and I thank you for your interest.

      3. Thank you!  I am well.  I hope this finds you in your most perfect health as well.  Will you email rather than post publicly?   If not, I understand.

  3. I too am a huge fan of Justin & the MB, but I’d like to say that holding out hope for a knighthood for him is probably a bit of a pipe dream; he is a great r & r musician but really hasn’t garnered the notoriety of others like Paul McCartney, Elton John, Bob Geldof, George Martin, Ravi Shankar, Bono, Van Morrison, Ringo Starr & Barry Gibb. Most of them had contributed to well-publicized charity cause & not just money, couple were knighted (George Martin) simply because of having such a tremendous effect on the arts in general & 2 or 3, IMHO, were undeserving of the title & probably got them by pure politics, like Mick Jagger (who I really admire & listen to all the time), Rod Stewart (please!), and for God’s sake, Barry Gibb (??). Van Morrison was, I believe, knighted mostly because he was from Northern Ireland (read political, but probably worthwhile) & according to Prince Charles, has done much for Irish music in general & for promoting tourism there.

    1. I think that once the full depth of Justin’s dedication and a true understanding of what he has achieved in attempting to break the barrier between our existences is appreciated, knight hood will be more than appropriate.
Thank you Bernard, for taking the time to consider and reply.
You are obviously a man of depth and I truly appreciate it.
